There are mainly iron, copper and nickel ore in cobalt. Metal cobalt and cobalt oxide processing techniques are high, the smelting process is complicated, with high energy consumption, and serious pollution.

(1) Re -selection process
The mineral selection technology of copper cobalt ore is mainly used for cobalt vulcanizing minerals and gallium arsenide cobalt minerals, or use it with a flotation method to form a heavy-duty combined process. Copper cobalt ore has a certain magnetism. Although the test is used for cobalt recycling, it has not been promoted during the production process.
(2) Floating process
The floating process is still the main method for the recycling cobalt recycling of copper and cobalt ore. Specifically, it is to separate cobalt and other metal sulfides through floating technology. Whether a cobalt-cobalt method is used or cobalt suppressing depends on the differences between minerals and pulse minerals.

In order to save costs, local enterprises still use sodium carbonate to extract sodium carbonate. Because the cobalt carbonate impurities are proposed, it contains a large amount of salt. If it is directly discharged to the environment, it will cause great defective to the environment. With the implementation of local environmental protection regulations, various African companies have begun to study other refined cobalt production processes. Among them the magnesium oxide is a direction of research.

After the Zehui Magnesium-based experimental test, the results showed that magnesium oxide as a cobalt sink is half less than the amount of carbonate. Therefore, the cost of the auxiliary materials can be greatly reduced, which can also save the cost of logistics and warehousing. It is also an environmentally friendly cobalt product plan.
